K.P. Jagan’s written and directed film “Roja Malli Kanakambaram” has been completed
The shooting of the film ‘Roja Malli Kanakambaram’, which is being produced by United Arts, under the direction of director K. P. Jagan and based on a true incident, was completed yesterday in Chennai.
The film is centered around three different stories that travel in the same direction. The film is a work that talks about the vagaries of life and love, and is being developed as a beautiful commercial film with features that all fans will enjoy.
Director K. P. Jagan, who has directed the films ‘Pudiya Geethai’, ‘Kodambakkam’, ‘Raman Thediya Seetha’ and ‘En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom’, has written and directed the film and has played the hero of one of the three stories featured in the film.
National Award winner M. S. Bhaskar has appeared in an important role.
Vijay Varma, a contestant from Bigg Boss Season 7, plays one of the lead actors in the film. He is paired opposite Sangeetha Kalyan. Aruldas, Kathiravan Balu, Ammu Sai, Monica Santhosh, Pichaikkaran Moorthy, Diya, Ranjith Velayudhan, Vetrivel Raja, Dindigul Alex, and Uriyadi Shankar are also in the cast. Baby Danushka and director KP Jagan’s son Master Sabarish are playing child actors.
Most of the scenes of the film were shot in Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi, Manapadu, and Kulasekarapatnam. A branch prison set was set up at ARS Garden, Chennai, and important scenes of the film were shot. The shooting was also completed in Manaliputhur, Chennai West Mambalam, and Thiruverkaud.
United, which produced the timeless film Mayandi Kumbumattar, is proudly producing this film as its second venture.
With the shooting completed, the dubbing and post-production work of the film will begin in the first week of December. Announcements regarding the teaser and music release of the film will be officially released soon.
