The mega-budget film ’45’, made in five languages – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi – is releasing on January 1st, 2026. The film’s trailer was released at a grand event in Bengaluru.
At the trailer launch event of this highly anticipated film, produced by Ramesh Reddy under Suraj Productions, Karnataka Chakravarthy Dr. Shivarajkumar, Real Star Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, Arjun Janya (who is making his directorial debut with this film after gaining fame as a music composer), actress Sudharani, and actor Pramod Shetty were among those present.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh released the trailer of ’45’ and extended his best wishes to the film crew.
The trailer, which takes Indian film fans into a fantasy world with spectacular visuals never before seen on screen, impresses audiences with stunning character introductions and features MGR’s song “Rajaavin Paarvai Raniyin Pakkam”.
Speaking after releasing the trailer, Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said,
“The film ‘45’ conveys a positive message to the police department. With leading actors like Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B. Shetty together, the film will be a huge box office success.”
Producer Ramesh Reddy welcomed everyone to the event and shared his happiness, saying,
“I am proud to be a part of ‘45’. This film gave me a great experience. ‘45’ will be celebrated by everyone.” Director Arjun Janya said,
“If Shivanna (Shivarajkumar) hadn’t encouraged me to try directing, I wouldn’t be standing here today. Upendra is a directorial icon; I grew up in his shadow and learned a lot. This film strongly addresses some truly valuable things that we have forgotten in today’s times. If we understand them, every home will shine. In this film, along with the three heroes, the fourth hero is the producer. This wouldn’t have been possible without his full cooperation.”
Dr. Shivarajkumar said,
“’45’ is my 129th film. I had the same fear and devotion for this film as I did when I made my first film, ‘Anand’. When Arjun Janya narrated the story, I was very surprised at how he created such a story. ’45’ could be a day, a minute, or a second. But it will definitely surprise you. This is not the story of just one man, but a film that connects everyone. When we were shooting the climax scenes, I was undergoing chemotherapy. A film only gains value when the artist fully executes what the director has envisioned – whether it’s a duet song or cleaning a toilet. We have fully realized the director’s dream. This film will definitely satisfy all the fans.”
Actor Upendra said,
“There are three heroes behind the screen for this film. The first is the producer Ramesh Reddy, the second is the director Arjun Janya, and the third is the cinematographer Sathya Hegde. I have a very close relationship with Shivarajkumar and his family. This is a moment to remember Dr. Rajkumar, who said, ‘Fans are God’. Dr. Kuvempu found God in writing. Dr. Shivarama Karanth found God in nature.” Speaking at the event, Raj B. Shetty said,
“I am a fan of Shivrajkumar and Upendra. I gave the first thousand rupees I earned as profit from my recent film ‘Su From So’ to director Arjun Janya and producer Ramesh Reddy, giving them 500 rupees each. My best wishes for the film ‘45’,” he said.
Actress Sudharani said that she was very happy to have acted in this film, even in a small role.
Actor Pramod Shetty said, “I never even dreamt that I would act in a film like this in my life.”
