“As soon as I narrated the story to my producers Kothandam and Lakshu Ganesh, they asked when we could start shooting. I thank both of them for giving me their full support in making this film. The child actor in this film is the producer’s child. I have depicted the friendship between the two of them in this film. We have conveyed the message that the seed of caste should not be sown in the minds of children at a young age. I request the media friends to support this film. Thank you.”
Actor Gugan Chakravarthy said:
“I have known the director even before the making of Paruthi. He is a good actor and speaks well; he is also a good director. Sonia Agarwal is the biggest pillar of the film Paruthi, and a great success awaits her through this film. My best wishes for this film to be a great success for everyone.”

“Small efforts grow into big trees. I know Guru sir very well. He speaks well. He is a good actor and has narrated a story to me. He will find a place in the list of good directors today. He will achieve a very special position. Sonia ma’am still looks the same. I wish this film great success. Thank you everyone.” Speaking on behalf of SGR Film Factory, Sridhar said…
I am part of the director’s team. I am releasing this film because I wanted to be a part of my friend’s journey. We will continue to release such good films through SGR Film Factory. Guru and I are close friends; he would call me at 2 AM and narrate stories. He is very friendly with everyone. He has a great future in cinema. Mr. Kothandam had complete faith in Guru. We have planned to release the film on the 25th. I am a fan of Sonia Agarwal ma’am. She has acted superbly. Please support the film. Thank you.

Director Guru is a long-time friend of mine. He said he would call me after making a quality film. All the films he makes are quality films. Journalists will definitely support good films. Thanks to the producers who gave this opportunity to my younger brother Guru. I am also a fan of Sonia. It’s wonderful that she has played such a character. The film has turned out very well. Please support it. Thank you.
Actor Thileesh said…
Hello everyone. Thanks to my father for giving me this opportunity. We all worked like a family. Paruthi has turned out to be a very beautiful film. Please support it. Thank you.
Speaking on behalf of the Producers’ Association, Raja said…
Paruthi means cotton flower. May this film be a major turning point for my friend Guru. Sonia ma’am is the central figure of this film. It is a pleasure that she attended the event. Yogi Babu acted in my film but did not attend the event, and talking about it became a problem. The Producers’ Association should look into this and take action. It is regrettable that the music director did not attend; he shouldn’t be absent from his own film’s event. The film’s songs belong to the producer. Best wishes for the film’s great success. Thank you.
Director Thirumalai said…
We should always support small films. Bharathiraja, the unforgettable directorial legend of Tamil cinema, has an assistant director named Guru, who has directed the film ‘Paruthi’. The realism in the film is evident even from the trailer. Sonia ma’am’s performance is excellent. Guru has gone through immense difficulties to make this film and bring it to this stage. If producers stop making films, Tamil cinema will cease to exist. It is only because of the efforts of these producers that Tamil cinema continues to function. Having a theatre is the only legal way to release a film these days. There are so many problems in releasing small films. There is no discipline among film producers and directors. There is no one to question this. This must change. Cinema is functioning for the benefit of just ten people. The film rights are not sold, yet it appears online. Producers who invest crores of rupees need protection. Change will come soon. Best wishes for the film’s success. Thank you all.

‘Paruthi’ is a very beautiful film. We have seen Sonia ma’am in many beautiful roles, but in this film, she has acted wonderfully as a mother living in a village. Director Guru is very talented. He is a good actor himself and demonstrates every scene to the actors. Everyone has acted well. Although the lead actor is new, he has acted brilliantly. The lead actress doesn’t know Tamil. She has acted brilliantly. Each of the songs has turned out wonderfully. This film should be a great success. Thank you.
Actress Sonia Agarwal said,
“Paruthi was a very different experience for me. I acted wearing dark makeup. I asked the director if he could cast someone from here, but he said that my experience and acting were needed for this film. I believe I have lived up to the trust he placed in me. I hope everyone will like this film. Thank you.”
Guru A, who directed the film ‘Valaiyal’ starring Bharathiraja’s son Manoj K Bharathi, has directed this film in a way that will appeal to all sections of the audience.
It is noteworthy that actress Sonia Agarwal and other film personalities have acted in important roles in this film.
All the characters in this film are based on real-life incidents.
The director has brought to life the village lifestyle and emotional struggles in this film. He has realistically and very emotionally portrayed the mindset of children who are caught in social problems and struggling through their childhood, without losing the essence of the village.
Ranjith Vasudevan has composed the music for this film. Rajesh Kumar has handled the cinematography.
This film has been shot on a grand scale. The shooting took place in Hosur, Thenkanikottai. It is planned to release the film on December 25th.
