Filming completed for ‘Production Number One’, the debut directorial venture of Ken Karunas under the banner of Parvatha Entertainment
Filming completed for the new film directed by and starring Ken Karunas
The film crew has excitedly announced the completion of filming for the untitled film, which marks the debut of Ken Karunas, who made a strong impression in the Tamil film industry with the National Award-winning film ‘Asuran’, as a lead actor.
The film, which marks Ken Karunas’ directorial debut, features Ken Karunas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini, Aneeshma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav, and Nalini, along with digital screen personalities such as Chinna Thamizha, Tajmola, Kettavan Manikandan, and Karen Vincent, among others. Vicky has handled the cinematography, and ‘Music Maestro’ G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music. This film, which focuses on the lives of school students, is produced by Karuppaiah C. Ram and Sulochana Kumar under the banner of Parvatha Entertainments Private Limited.
“The film’s shooting began at the end of September with a traditional puja ceremony. The shooting then continued uninterrupted for sixty days in Chennai. To meticulously portray the school life of the students on screen, the filming took place in a private school campus in the heart of Chennai, with a minimum of one hundred supporting actors participating daily. During the filming of key scenes, 300 to 450 supporting actors were used. The film crew also traveled to Alappuzha in Kerala for a week to shoot a significant portion of the film.”
G.V. The film’s shooting was completed with a grand song sequence choreographed by dance master Shobi, featuring music composed by Prakash Kumar.
Veteran actress Nalini has made her comeback to the film industry with this movie.
Even before the official announcement of the film’s title, business deals are being finalized. This is considered a rare occurrence for a team comprising a debutant hero, a debutant director, and a debutant production company.
The film is being planned for a grand worldwide theatrical release in February of next year.
