Singers Vedan and Arivu team up for the film ‘Arisi’ under the music direction of ‘Isaignani’ Ilaiyaraaja
The film crew has excitedly announced that leading singers Arivu and Vedan have collaborated on a song for the film ‘Arisi’, featuring former Tamil Nadu State Secretary of the Communist Party of India, R. Mutharasan, and Samuthirakani in the lead roles, with music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja.
Directed by debutant S. A. Vijayakumar, ‘Arisi’ stars R. Mutharasan, Samuthirakani, Subramaniam Siva, and Rusyamayan in prominent roles. John V. Jerin handled the cinematography, and K. S. Nathish is the editor.
Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has composed the music. This emotionally charged film, centered around agriculture and farmers, is produced by P. Shanmugam, S. M. Prabhakaran, and Mahendra Prasad under the banner of Monica Productions.
As the film’s production nears completion, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has created a song about agriculture. The lyrics were written by Arivu, and the song has been sung by popular singer Vedan and Arivu. There is an expectation that this song, which depicts the struggles of farmers’ lives, will create a significant impact upon its release.
The film crew has announced that the music launch will take place at the end of January (2026), and the film will be released in February.
