I came well prepared on what to speak before coming to the event. But after @SasikumarDir sir’s speechless, I’m so moved as he is that special to me. It was him and producer @Yuvrajganesan who planted the idea of making it as a big book launch event.
When I came out of Vikatan, many started discussing that I’m moving to Nakeeran, Kumudham, etc. But moving companies was never in the picture, if I’m quitting Vikatan, it means I’m quitting Press. But after meeting #NakkheeranGopal sir, I reconsidered my decision as I got attached with him instantly.
I invited @ThamizhachiTh mam with an introductory note which I wrote for her in Vikatan 15 years ago that she is ageless, she still looks the same and I think even for the next 20 years, the statement will look the same. Not communicating for 2-3 days is setting a gap between friends nowadays, but she instantly replied saying she will definitely come.
Sasikumar sir is an important reason for this book launch event. I think I can thank him only by giving him a hit film.
Last year I met @sooriofficial sir to narrate a subject, we spent a whole night talking. It was me who did not narrate. Many people ask me why Soori sir is nothing giving me dates. Leave out movies, he is a person who gave me his house 7 years back when I was suffering by not getting any house for rent. He was adamant that live there.
I don’t know about 2026, but 2025 was the worst year for me. I went through a lot hard ships, I called poet #Veyil and told him that I feel like dying. The motivating words he told me that day is the reason I’m standing here, he was more like a therapist.
One great thing that happened to me in 2025 was producer Yuvrajganesan, who became my best friend. He was very keen on launching this ‘Sangaaram’ novel as a big event.
