Speaking about the film, director Fire Karthik said…

We have created this film as a suspense crime thriller.

The protagonist, who works as an assistant director, and his friends travel from Chennai to Palakkad to inspect a house they intend to buy. Many unexpected events unfold there. How they escaped from those situations, and what happened to them and the people in that house forms the screenplay of this film.

The house in Palakkad belongs to an old zamindar named Magizh Koman, and the house number is 24. Since most of the film’s scenes take place in this house, we have named the film “MG 24” by combining the zamindar’s name and the house number, says director Fire Karthik.

The shooting took place in Chennai, Palakkad, and Coimbatore.

The film is scheduled for release on February 20th, and the final stages of post-production work are underway at a brisk pace, the film crew has stated.
