Actress Sapthami Gowda said,
“I have played the character of Ambika in this film. I have portrayed a woman from the 80s and 90s. She has a dream and an ambition of her own. How she fights for it is the climax scene. I liked it very much. I believe that not only I, but all of you will like it too.
I request the Tamil Nadu audience to shower immense love on me and my film crew. Everyone will like this film and its songs. I request everyone to watch and enjoy it,” she said.
Actor Sathish Ninasam said, “This is a very big event for me. I express my gratitude to everyone who participated in this.
I am a hero in Kannada cinema. But nobody knows me in Tamil Nadu. This film is being released in Tamil as well, thanks to the cooperation of nature.
This day is a very special day in my life. This is the dream of my ancestors. This film is excellent.
In my ten-year journey in the film industry, I have acted as a hero in only ten or twelve films. This is because I choose to act only in emotionally resonant stories. I cannot act in two or three films a year. It’s very difficult. Because there aren’t enough suitable stories. So I choose carefully, wait, and then act in films.
I have made this film because of the confidence I have in it. Because this story is set in Chamarajanagar, a border area between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The essence of that land, the essence of the people living there, and my essence β everything matches. It is also suitable for Tamil Nadu. Even the dialect spoken by those people has a mix of Tamil. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada β all languages ββare the same. The emotions are the same.
This Ashoka is your film. Please give your support.” I have officially stepped into the Tamil film industry with this film. Please welcome me. Please extend your wishes and support to this team and this film.
I watch all the Tamil films released in Karnataka. There is a separate fan base for Tamil films there. In that respect, I wish that our film, ‘Rise of Ashoka’, should also be successful in Tamil Nadu,” he said.
