Greetings to our friends in the press and media!
Just as a hand comes to the aid of one who has lost their garment, friendship is that which alleviates distress!
It’s not necessary for one’s honor to be lost only when their garment slips off… For an artist, even if no film is released in a year, or if the released film doesn’t do well, or if proper recognition isn’t received, not only honor but also respect vanishes.
For 20 months, my heart has been heavy, burdened by the fact that my directorial film hasn’t been released… This announcement, like a friendship that alleviates distress without causing loss of honor, has filled my eyes with tears of joy, made my breath exhilarating, and spread sweetness in all directions. Since my tongue is parched with gratitude, my eyes are searching the heavens for suitable words to express myself in writing.
My heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients. If it is a joy for this horse, which has been running in the race for thirty-five years, to compete with the horses that were born just the other day, then isn’t lifting the cup the greatest joy? And not one or two, but ten awards! Are there words or limits to this happiness?
