Director Madhan says he worked in @Abishanjeevinth’s #TouristFamily. Abishan read this script of mine when he was doing that film and said it was very good. When I asked him if he would play the lead, he took it lightly and asked me to get a good actor instead as he thought it was a good story. Moreover, he was under pressure as a director waiting to release his first film. I began searching for a good actor to play the lead but nothing was working out. By then, Tourist Family released and Abishan emerged a big director. So, now, I was shy to approach him for the role and kept looking for other options. One day, when I was down, I met my friend Bala who I rate highly when it comes to rating a script. He read my script and appreciated me. He suggested Abishan as the lead but I pointed out that Abishan had now become a big director. He said he would ask on my behalf to Abishan. Abishan sweetly agreed but asked Bala to check with me if I was first okay with him. I said I was. Once we finalised Abishan as lead, we went to @mageshraj Anna and urged him to produce the film. He said he liked the script but told us that he would do the film only if @soundaryaarajni ma’am liked it as he was doing this film with ma’am. Soundarya ma’am, to my delight, said we were doing this film even before I began narrating the second half.
