Actress Vani Bhojan and Micset Sriram inaugurate ‘Color Pencil’ store of ‘Kiki & Coco’ makers in Chennai!
‘Color Pencil’ is India’s first store for children’s learning.
In an effort to make children’s learning fun and easy, ‘Color Pencil’ – Kids Experimental Learning Store, India’s first in India, was launched in Glampakkam, Chennai.
Speaking at the event, Narayanan, founder of Color Pencil, said, “Teaching children education is an art. But these days, it is being imposed. Nowadays, many people do not like children asking ‘Why?’ questions. To change that, we have created ‘Joy of Y’ in Color Pencil. Thus, the basic knowledge of children will be strong. That is what we guarantee, but it is not a guarantee that children will go to IITs or pass 100% by studying here.”
Color Pencil CEO Meena Sabriya said, “We are also going to start a lot of special summer classes here. We are going to take diploma classes in Japanese language, origami, etc. to entertain children. There is no fee here. You can buy a book worth about Rs. 400 and get trained in it. For the first time in India, there are more than 34 books and a training model here. This is the first store in India to sell children’s educational products. It is spread over 3300 square feet. We are going to open five stores in India next year. Learning and the happiness of children are the aim of ‘Color Pencil’.”
Actress Vani Bhojan, who was the special guest at the event, said, “It was a pleasure to participate in this event. As soon as I entered, I could see many children excitedly in this store. I wish this will continue.”
