The horror-feel that the film gives the viewers ably backed by the brilliant camera angles of P. G. Muthiah are very interesting to start with till it becomes known that it is all about honor- killing!
Given the fact that there have been too many in the past that have dealt with such themes but this flick presents it with a rustic flavor while the fact remains that the scenes showcased in the climax are crude and crass!
The plot has been woven tactfully with the objective of the filmmaker kept under wraps for most of the screenplay time.
Deepa Balu as Anu is just too good for words.
Kalaiyarasan is in his element as ever! The scene where a little boy is shown wielding the knife for a dastardly act could have been avoided.
A movie that is emotionally strong and letting loose a message for fanatics of caste and creed!
