The talented actress Abarnathi who is capable of getting into the skin of the characters that she gets to depict, has donned a daringly different role here, that of a District Collector who always prefers to be at the centre of happenings, anywhere and everywhere!
It is a habit that is characteristic of her since her school days that had in fact provoked her to kill her foster dad (Kaali Venkat).
As the years hurry, she becomes the District Collector and her moves are mysterious keeping everybody around guessing!
The point is she is very particular about staying under the limelight regardless of whether it is right or wrong!
She soon turns into a political strategist and starts shaking the senior politicians on both the sides!
At one point, she is forced to bite the rest but she manages to bounce back in style!
Abarnathi is excellent as the protagonist and dominates the frames effectively and efficiently.
Ilavarasu has little scope but still manages to make a mark.
Livingston is passable.
But it is John Vijay who has more of screen presence and is most irritating!
It is strange that our filmmakers keep casting him in the same kind of characters and has become a stereo type!
Sachu makes her seniority felt.
Initially, the film poses as a science fiction but the flavor changes soon.
The screens where religious clashes are triggered could have been avoided.
