The screenplay has a ‘period’ reference that dates back to the days of the East India Company.
Bala G. Ramasamy’s camera succeeds in generating the eerie effect to a reasonable extent but a reduction in the length could have done some more good to the film’s final outcome!
The essence of the screenplay starts in the bye gone era when, at Hasthinapuram, a sorcery ritual goes irreversibly wrong and the consequent curse, continuous across generations.
Cut to the present, Marcelin (Mona Bedre) begins to behave in a mysterious manner guided by a supernatural force.
Her daughter Alisha (Ayraa Palak) gets terrified by the occurrence of some terrorising events!
Deaths keep mounting in numbers!
Sagar (Fredrick John) who has a crush on Alisha takes up the task of getting into the thick and thin of things but that doesn’t appear to be an easy task but herculean in nature!
A couple of scenes have been framed up well.
