On the evening of April 13, 2026, at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai, the book Kannadasanin “Thalattum Poongatru”—authored by Poet Kaverimaindhan and published by Gangai Publications—was released by Mr. Lakshminathan, with Mr. Selvaratnam (Sri Lanka) receiving the first copy.

On behalf of the Kaviyarasu Kannadasan Tamil Sangam (Pammal), the title “Sudarkavi” (Radiant Poet) was conferred upon Poet Lakshminathan in recognition of his sustained contributions to the Tamil language, as well as the immense support and encouragement he consistently extends to various events.
The title ” Vazhviyal Vazhikatti” (Life Guide) was presented to Poet and Writer Mr. Selvaratnam (alias Selva) of Sri Lanka, in appreciation of his dedicated efforts in the fields of Tamil literature, poetry, and social activism.
The title “Makkal Thodarbu Mamani” (Public Relations Luminary) was bestowed upon Mr. Nikhil Murugan, who stands out as a distinguished figure within the South Indian film industry’s public relations sector.
