Produced by C.V. Manjunatha under the banner of Ammanya Movies and directed by Su. Kalingan, “Bhagavan” is a brand-new feature film. Built around a distinctive narrative concept, the movie features popular actor Aari Arjunan in the lead role. Starring opposite him as the female lead is Pujita Ponnada.
Additionally, a host of actors—including James Barrett, Santhosh Prathap, Aadukalam Naren, Delhi Ganesh, Jagan, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Yog JP, Birla Bose, Lucky Narayanan, Alex, Abhishek, Sathya, Master Pandi, Ajay Thatha, Jagadeesh, and G.V. Krishna—have played pivotal roles in the film.
Murugan Saravanan has handled the cinematography for the film, while Mahendran Ganesan served as the editor. Prasanna Bala composed the music for the songs, with lyrics penned by Sampath G. Yuvaraj composed the background score. Kala Master choreographed the dance sequences, and Balaiya oversaw the art direction. Hari Dinesh served as the stunt master, while Vinaya Dev handled the costume design. Bhuvan Selvaraj managed the public relations, and Moovendhar served as the Executive Producer.

“There are many things in this universe that remain beyond our comprehension, harboring within them countless secrets. We all worship the Divine. If it is indeed the Divine who orchestrates this entire universe—then who exactly is He? Is He merely a physical form, or is He something else entirely? And if so, who are the Illuminati? The answers to these very questions form the core of this film. We have crafted this movie as a mythological thriller, set against the backdrop of ancient history and lore that remains largely unknown to us.
‘Bhagavan’ is not merely a conventional narrative; it has been conceived to offer the audience a truly novel cinematic experience. The film incorporates elements from the familiar epic of the Mahabharata, and a host of surprises await fans throughout the story. Notably, a humble creature—the lizard—which we typically overlook in our daily lives, features as a pivotal character in this film. These are just a few of the many unique highlights that distinguish this movie.

With the film currently in its final stages of post-production, official announcements regarding the trailer release and the theatrical premiere date are expected very soon. On behalf of Seventh Studios, Kannan is set to release the film in theaters across Tamil Nadu this coming May.
