A neatly crafted thriller that packs a punch at every turn with never a dull moment!
The screenplay is taut and gives no indication of what comes next!
The film’s suspense element has been retained tactfully till the closing portions which stands out as a plus to the tension filled proceedings.
Narasimhan is a tough guy who holds total control over his two sisters – Chitra and Mithra.
Chitra has a lover named Kishore.
But as Narasimhan has plans to get Chitra married to Inba, son of their uncle.
Notwithstanding the fact that Inba is evil personified, Narasimhan stands firm on getting Chitra married to him (but why?).
Once, Narasimhan and his henchmen spot Kishore and Chitra together and they beat up Kishore black and blue!
Meanwhile, Chitra dies under mysterious circumstances.
Mithra, Chithra ‘s younger sister is holding the torch for Ashok and on expected lines, Narasimhan opposes their love stiffly and stubbornly!
The climax has some tense moments following which justice gets delivered.
Ram Prabha appears in a cameo.
Harikrishnan’s music helps maintain the film’s tempo.
Suresh Kumar Sundaram ‘s camera work has brought out the desired effects as most of the film has been shot within the confines of a big bungalow.
A thriller that is worth watching…
