The film ‘Flag’ hits screens on August 14

Produced by Y. Vairaprakash under the banner of I&I Movies, the film is titled Flag.

Director S.P. Pon Shankar has handled the story, screenplay, dialogues, cinematography, and direction.

Varadharajan has handled the editing, while Raja Ravivarma and Balasubramaniam have composed the music.

The film features Teehan—known for his roles in movies like Kottukkaali and Idli Kadai—alongside Bollywood actors Mickey Makki Ja and Abhinav Goswami (known for films like Dhoom, Krrish, and Sardar) in lead roles.

They are joined by actors such as Anand (Bhojpuri), Papusha (Bengal), and others from Kerala and Karnataka in key roles.

Speaking about the film, the director said:

“We have filmed across various locations, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Mumbai, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Kashmir.”

“The story revolves around a 10-year-old boy named Teehan, who is raised by his grandfather. Due to a critical situation, he sets out for Delhi.”

“However, losing his way, he travels across India. At one point, he finds himself in a situation where he is forced to travel with a group of terrorists. Unexpectedly, he gets caught by the police. Why did he travel to Delhi? Was he truly a terrorist? What happens in the end?” the director explains.

The film is set for a worldwide release on August 14.
