The fact that superstar Rajnikanth’s style and grace is still very much intact is undoubtedly evident in this latest outing of his which is a worthy sequel to Jailer (2023).
Here, the superstar has simply underplayed his character – a retired Jailer who becomes a Supervisor at a Departmental Store, then, a Driver!
A neat underplay by the seasoned superstar whose charm and charisma will stay put for ever!
Watch out for the scene where he chats with Vidya Balan! A classical sequence!
Detailing of good morning and good evening messages!
His romantic expressions convey mischief!
The trio – Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff and Shivarajkumar reprise their respective roles from the 2023 film but have very little mileage here.
Hrithik Roshan and Mithun Chakraborty besides Vidya Balan, all of whom create a mild flutter for some brief moments!
Yogi Babu and Namo Narayana run upon a separate track that is thoroughly enjoyable.
The theme is about idol smuggling.
The first half is soaked in more of humor and less of action and the sequence is just the reverse in the second half.
Anirudh’ s background score is noteworthy.
A typical superstar extravaganza that is certain to keep the box- office bells in motion, for long!
