Set in the backdrop of Madurai, the film showcases a tale of love which gets disturbed and damaged by the family of the girl which is soaked in age-old caste based politics with a hand in political aspirations too!

Sam Jones the son of an auto driver (Munishkanth) is a soft hearted student studying in American College, Madurai. Anandhi is his colleague who holds the torch for him right from day one! Her dad (A.Venkatesh) and his elder brother (Vela Ramamoorthy) are very caste conscious and would not tolerate any deviation to that aspect from the members of the family; if the need be and if a family member diverts from their path in the name of love, they would not hesitate to eliminate, not only the boy concerned but also the girl from their family!

Karu Pazhaniappan, a relative of the family who happens to be the brother of Anandhi’s deceased mom, has a hidden agenda against that family.

All hell breaks loose when Ananda and Sam are in love and the latter is framed of falsified murder charges!

Meanwhile the scheming Karu Pazhaniappan plays a game of deceit.

How the further developments lead to an unexpected climax is the reasonably interesting balance of the narration.

The film’s length could have been pruned a bit and the proceedings would have turned crispier!

The comedy track involving Sam’s colleague vying for Anandhi’s colleague is far from being humorous!

Sam Jones has done well while Anandhi is in her usual elements.

Dhibu Ninan Thomas’ score passes muster.
