This much hyped flick bankrolled by 2D Entertainment that has carved a niche for itself as a banner that backs discerning movies but this time, it has been a different kind of ball game, altogether!
All efforts to project Karthi to a different dimension as an actor hasn’t been spared but the actor stands out in stature as a son who wants to mend the ways of his father! He establishes his credentials in the title role, Viruman quite victoriously!
Aditi Shankar has made an impressive debut as the heroine showing promise. She needs a bit of grooming in which case she could go places!
Soori sticks to his gun quite well this time and his situational comedy is watch worthy and enjoyable!
Prakashraj as Tahsildar Muthupandi does what is expected of him with élan.
Raj Kiran lends respect to his character.
R.K.Suresh and G.M. Sundar manage to float around.
As the script has been set against a rural backdrop, the brilliant visuals of Selvakumar lend pleasing colours!
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is appreciable to a reasonable extent.
For all the hype created, the film lives up to that level as an enjoyable rural entertainer!
