Director Ramnath Palanikkumar’s story, screenplay and direction of ‘Aadhaar’, produced by Vanilla Creations, was released by Seeman, director and co-ordinator of the Naam Tamilar Party.
The trend of publishing the screenplays of successful Tamil films as books has been increasing in recent times. ‘Bharti’, ‘Periyar’, ‘Kalavani’, ‘Azhakarswamy’s Horse’, ‘Anda Naan’, ‘Saddam Potade’ Balu Mahendra’s ‘Sandiya Ragam’, Vasanth’s ‘Rhythm’, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Hey Ram’, Vasanthapalan’s ‘Angadittheru’, Mishkin’s The screenplay of many successful works like ‘Anjathe’, Samuthirakani’s ‘Abba’ has been published as a book and has gained the attention of the readers. It is a universally accepted fact that film is a medium that reliably communicates the imagination to an audience through visuals. Even if it is published in the form of a book, its taste will be consumed by the readers.
In that regard, the film ‘Aadhaar’ is being prepared under the direction of director Ramnath Palanikumar, who directed the films ‘Ambasamudram Ambani’ and ‘Thirunaal’. The story and screenplay of the film is based on global business politics. The film ‘Aadhaar’, which has created huge expectations due to its positive pre-release reviews, has been scripted by the director and the production company. The first copy was released by Seeman, the coordinator of Nam Tamilar movement and film director. It was received by ‘Manadu’ producer and director Suresh Kamatshi and the film’s hero actor Karunas.
Director Ramnath Palanikumar said, “In my 22 years of experience in the film industry, I have created only three works. ‘Aadhaar’ is a screenplay that has been researched and developed for the past five years. I have written the screenplay based on the true incident. This movie will give a new experience to the audience. My idea is to write the screenplay and publish it as a book. After telling this to the producer, he also gave his full consent. Following this, this book is being prepared in standard format. I hope that after reading the book and watching the movie, both will give readers and viewers the same feeling.
Arun Pandian, Karunas, Rithvika, Iniya, Uma Riaz Khan, Prabhakar of ‘Baahubali’ have played compelling roles in ‘Aadhaar’ movie. It is worth noting that the dedicated work of technical artists including cinematography and background music has added strength to this film.
