What would be the fate of downtrodden people who find it hard even to make ends meet get trapped by the powers that be, owing to the force of circumstances, is exactly the crux of the issue in this disturbing flick that keeps tugging at your heart strings even long after you vacate from the theatre!
Without making any commercial compromises of any sort whatsoever, the director has taken up the life of a couple whose life gets shattered with power people and paisa accidently, enter their lives and cause havoc!
Pachamuthu (Karunas) is a labourer whose wife Thulasi (Rithvika) is expecting a child. She gets admitted at a hospital. Saroja (Iniya) who is also a poor lady but with a heart of gold extends help. Thulasi delivers a child.
One day, both Thulasi and Saroja go missing but soon Saroja’s corpse is found while the whereabouts of Thulasi still remains a mystery.
Pachamuthu is both rocked and shocked as his efforts to find his missing wife proves futile!
With a child on hand, he goes around showing his wife’s Aadhar Card asking, whomsoever he meets, whether they have seen her!
Mahesh Muthusami’s cinematography and Ramar’s editing are value additions.
Srikanth Deva’s background score is apt.
The film showcases the pathetic plight and predicament of those people who are both hapless and helpless.
A realistic, reel life presentation that stands out as a reality check on the dark realities of life!
