After having tasted success with the previous outing this D D is fast becoming a famous franchise with Santhanam as the pillar rock in the proceedings but offering enough and more scope to the other comedians in the cast, which is indeed a generous gesture!
Till now, we know that the director turned actor would not hesitate to don the garb of quirky characters! Well, we have an addition here and the new entrant in that arena is none other than Gautham Vasudev Menon who converses mostly in English regardless of whether the persons around understand or not!
Though he has been cast as an auto driver besides being the protagonist ‘s father, he has been mostly used for toilet humor!
Though Kasthuri plays the mother of the protagonist, she is offered her heart’s fill by wearing some chic costumes! She shakes her legs on a few occasions. Whether it is required or not,
Reddington Kingsley raises his voice but to no great avail…
But Santhanam’s dialogue reference to director Nelson Dilip Kumar ‘s suggestion to Kingsley regarding the latter ‘s voice modulation is noteworthy.
