If a script happens to be strong with an unexpected storyline backed by unexpected twists and turns, it is bound to work well at the box-office! Here is a classic example wherein the director delivers well with his effective and unusual screenplay supplemented by good performances, keeping the audience glued to their seats till the very end.

Madhi (Vijay Sivan) is employed but not too well but somehow manages to make ends meet, ably supported by his wife Pavithra (Chandini Thamizharasan).

Mathi’s father Sundaram (Suresh Chakravarthy) a widower, is desirous of living life fully oblivious of the family circumstances!

Mathi has a peculiar problem-he becomes intoxicated after consuming tea or a cool drink and eventually cuts a sorry figure time and again, both at home as well as office.

The scenes flow steadily and stealthily laced with humor till the interval block sets in during which time, Mathi gets to realize his plight while being unaware of what next!

The problem has now been identified and from then on it is all about how a solution is sought!

Humor courses through the entire proceedings in an enjoyable manner!

The film is daringly different and is worth a watch…
