After the huge success of ‘Picchaikaran 2’, the final shoot of Vijay Antony starrer Valli Mayil, produced by Nallusamy Pictures Thaisaravanan and directed by Suchinthran, started yesterday in Dindigul.

“Valli Mayil” is a 1980s film directed by Suchinthran and starring Tamil cinema’s leading star Vijay Antony. The final shooting of the film is currently underway in Dindigul, Kodaikanal,
Sirumalai, Palani, Madurai, Tirunelveli and many parts of South Tamil are going on with excitement.
After the success of Vijay Antony’s recently released blockbuster Picchaikaran 2, today Vijay Antony has joined the shooting of Valli Mayil. The crew welcomed him enthusiastically and celebrated the success of Pichaikkaran 2.
In the 1980s, Valli Mayil was developed as an innovative drama-thriller set against the backdrop of theatre. Since it is a 1980 period story, earlier in Dindigul city, a huge set was constructed at a cost of 1 crore rupees to bring the background of the 1980 period before the eyes, and the first phase of the film was shot.
Currently the final shoot is scheduled for 24 days. With this the entire shooting of the film will be completed.
The movie stars Vijay Antony as the hero and Faria Abdullah as the heroine. Bharathiraja, Sathyaraj, Pushpa Padappukal Sunil, Dhambramayya, GP Muthu are playing important roles.
Music composer D. Imman is composing the music for the film. Cinematography – Vanchinathan Murugesan, Editor – Antony, Art Direction – Udayakumar, Stunt Master – Rajasekhar, Public Relations – Satish (AIM) are working in the technical team.
While the final shoot of the film will wrap up by the end of this month, details about the teaser and music release will be announced soon.
