The crew celebrates the success of horror drama ‘Inspector Rishi’ with fans; Meet fans on Marina Beach; Its distinctive spider web billboards adorn the city of Chennai
A long wait came to an end when the much awaited Tamil original series Inspector Rishi was finally released on Prime Video. Prime Video has installed promotional posters across Chennai for this heart-warming series to generate excitement among the audience and unleash their enthusiasm. The promo showcases the heart-wrenching scenes of ‘Vanarakshi’ AKA ‘Ratshi’, a deadly mythological forest mohini and tribal forest deity, emerging from a web. The cobwebs hanging from the sides of billboards serve as one of the main sources of serial killings in the small village of Tenkadu in Tamil Nadu. These billboards installed at various places in Chennai are creating interest among the audience to watch this horror-crime-drama series. Recently the team of the series went to Chennai Marina Beach to unveil these hoardings and celebrate the success of the show with the audience.

The serial tells the story of a one-eyed crime investigator Rishi Nandan, with the help of his two trusted sub-investigators Aiyanar and Chitra, who take up the investigation of an intriguing and brain-teasing case full of supernatural or out-of-the-ordinary incidents. He overcomes the obstacles he personally faces in his relentless pursuit to uncover the truth behind the mysterious murders.
Created and written by Nandini JS, Inspector Rishi is produced by Sukhdev Lahiri. It stars multi-talented actor Naveen Chandra in the lead role, Sunaina, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevaratnam, Srikrishna Dayal and Kumaravel in pivotal roles. The ten-episode series is currently streaming on Prime Video in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada languages.
