Dream Warrior Pictures, which has produced various successful films, will buy a complete film and release the film ‘Anjamai’. It has been prepared by Dr. Thirunavukarasu on behalf of Tiruchitram. SB Subpuraman, who worked as an assistant director for Mohan Raja and Lingusamy, directed it.
Starring Vidharth, Vani Bhojan, Raghuman, Krithik Mohan, Balachandran IAS and others, Karthik has done the cinematography, Raghav Prasad has composed the songs and Kala Charan has composed the background music. The movie will hit the theaters on June 7th.

“This film will definitely be a talking point because the thing that can be talked about is happening in our society even now. I have written a sentimental song that reflects the bond that a father and son can have. In this I have written a song similar to how in Sangam literature the psychology and feelings of country people have been expressed in a sentimental expression.
Thanks to director Subbu Annan for taking me in his first film and giving me this opportunity. This film talks about education. Education, which was an individual human duty, then education was for the development of this society, for the inner maturity and development of the individual to function in society. But in today’s era we are at a stage where education should be a political right. Anjaami is a film that can tell you that it should not be carried by just one person. There are many songs in Tamil about what you should fear, you should fear.. what you should not fear, you should not fear. This film tells us what we should not be afraid of,” he said.

“Tamil cinema has evolved differently in every era. There was a time when people would go to see a movie only if there were 64 songs that were pleasant to their ears. After that films with Sivaji Ganesan’s dialogues dominated. Today is the age of youth. The film tells about the struggle between law and justice.. It talks about the perennial and contemporary problem of what happens in society if the law does not prescribe justice and does not stand by justice. The actors in this film are all young, so I felt like a youngster during the shoot. He is an empton. I was never told the whole story until the end. To that extent he only said what needed to be said and kept other things secret. Today, it is something that is needed,” he said.

The producer of the film Thirunavukarasu is not only a doctor but also a psychiatrist, professor, writer, speaker, social thinker and Tamil activist who is multidimensional. He cannot be easily satisfied. I feel very happy if I have bought a passmark from such a person. This film happened because his thought and my thought joined at some point.
Directing a film in Dream Warriors is a dream for many people. They don’t agree on anything casually. They think that this film is the first success of Anjamai I’m One who is in the power of making law should see how a common man will be affected by it. This is the story of a common man who is so affected. Every parent wants their child to be a genius. Education is very important to become such a certified person. This film is talking about the current state of that education and how much the parents are struggling for it, mixed with life.
Vidharth is known to be a great actor. We have dug deeper and extracted some gold from him. Vani Bhojan has acted in a different evolution in this film, not like a doll. It really takes courage. It is mostly performed by dramatists in Malayalam and Bengal. That much thirst in him will take him to another level with this film. At this time I apologize to Mammootty sir.. When I met him in Hyderabad and told him this story, he also agreed to act. At the same time, we missed him in this film because his dates were delayed by two months and we immediately left for shooting. Raghuman sir came to the place next to him. He has given excellent performance with all his Tamil training.
We auditioned many people for Krithik’s character in this film. But Krithik surprised us by memorizing the lines in a very short time and acting well. He has a great future. Even though he is a friend of the producer, we selected Balachandran sir through audition. We were shocked that Thilagan is ready for Tamil cinema next. Editor Ram Sudarsan worked on about 18 films prepared by Kamal sir but this was his first film. I have also written a song for this film along with Karthik Netha and Indummathi. Mani Sharma’s brother Raghav Prasad, who has worked with Mani Sharma in nearly 300 films, has scored the music for the film. We were adamant that there should be no western music anywhere in the first half of the film. A beautiful melodious song that tells about pain has been broken from the usual format and given in a new way. This film is for parents, for students, for us… It is not a film against anyone, we are telling the pain of the people,” he said.
When heroine Vani Bhojan speaks,
“Anjaami is a very important film for me. We often inquire about those who are very close to us and are alive. Anjaami is such a lively film. I love this movie so much. No matter what film you go to work on, you will remember this film. We have given our lives and worked to that extent. Many people asked that you have played the role of a mother of two children. I think there is no point in being an actress if I don’t do such a role. I am very happy to have such a film. I told the director that I know how to act but we will do an audition to see what we get from you, the director said. Right then I thought it would be a good film.
As an actress, as a person with a sense of social responsibility, they will not say that I will not act in this film.. I believe that I have given my 100% effort. Vidharth is one of the very few actors who can act as naturally as the man next door. Even before I come to the cinema, if Dream Warrior Pictures releases, I will definitely watch it. There will be an expectation to that extent. I don’t know how many doctors would have thought of filming a story like this. Director Subburaman does not know how many people will express the pain and suffering in his mind. But I felt the pain and suffering he went through. (Dazzled at this point). “I am proud to have come to acting and done this film. I started listening to the story without any expectations. But soon I started crying. In this film, I had to act in four different baddies in four different eras. So we also shot it in Dindigul with a gap. I also helped in the production of the film. To get Mammootty to act in this, he went to Paril and narrated the story to him and he was also impressed. But he could not act as the dates did not coincide. He was succeeded by Raghuman Sir. I see Krithik, who has acted with me, as a next generation actor. He has a bright future. Although Vani Bhojan is a great actress, we will see her never seen performance in this movie. He has given such a performance in his character that he is next to Revathi. Cinematographer Ram Sudarsan has created a symphony on the set. Balachandran IAS has been amazing in court scenes. I consider it my duty to act in this film. Although I acted for money, I did all the work in this film. I have left many pictures for this. I got the meaning of acting when I acted in this film. “I am basically a psychiatrist doctor. Psychiatrists usually don’t know how to talk. But if you speak, you will be heard. Both my sons have no desire for money. Those who completed their studies without any expenses. That way I had money for them. They encouraged you to do whatever you want with it. I write one or two books a year. They will set up a separate stall for me at the book fair. Many directors who want to make psychological films come and consult me. Director Subpuraman was the one who came to see me two or three times.
One morning, when I saw a news in the newspaper, I immediately called Subpuraman and told him that everything was happening in the country. I asked if you would not film all this. He had the same frequency. Make a story with this message only.. Just tell the truth.. I said that I am making a film. I have been a teacher in medical education for over 50 years. There are times when I feel sad about how medical education is going. There have been times of glory. My son spoke about NEET in 2004 while speaking at the American Tamil Association. I asked them to hand over the speech to the director and write the dialogues based on it.
Despite the newcomers, this is a team for Energy. Most of the time I never visited the set. But I also experienced hardship. I also experienced the benefits. But they gave it in hand as a good work. I spoke to SR Prabhu only for a few minutes through Nayagan Vidharth. I handed over to him that he is the right person to release this film and left for America. This film does not say whether it supports or opposes NEET. In this we have told the facts in NEET. Even my father did not know which medical college I attended during my studies. But today, if an eighth-grader is at home, parents are under a lot of stress about their studies. I don’t like the word ‘I made you study hard’. “When films like Aaruvi and Joker were released, many people said that they were choosing good films and buying them. We produce and publish films and build a circle of support for ourselves. So when other good films come, we thought that we can share that support to those films. The main reason is not only that we get income through it but also the idea that a good film should go to the right place. To many people who ask me how to make a film, I say make a film that appeals to people and somehow it will reach them.
At some point in our lives we start living for our children. My son wants to be a doctor is what many parents think when they finish school and start college. A new method is now changing in such medicine. How people approach that change is beautifully told in this film. The director of the film Subpuraman has given a beautiful blend of reality and fantasy in this film. Many people will think of playing Vidharth’s character in this film. But Vidhart has done it bravely. I feel proud that the producer Dr. Thirunavukarasu entrusted me with the responsibility of making a film with a new team without experience in cinema and release it well.
While answering the questions of the journalists, director Subpuraman said, “It does not matter whether this film is pro or anti extension. In this film we are telling the pain of people. Watch the movie and decide whether you support it or not. Since it is a film related to NEET, they asked for the statistics and data of our shooting of this film at Censor. We gave it in cash.
