Music and trailer launch of the film ‘Viduthalai 2’!
Produced by Elred Kumar, directed by Vetrimaaran, and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Manju Warrier, Bhavani Sri and others, ‘Viduthalai 2’ will be released on December 20. Its music and trailer launch ceremony was held.

Director Vetrimaaran, “It takes a lot of work to make a film. Trust is very important for the success of the film. We started the film in December 2020. It has been almost four years. I am very grateful to the team who understood this story and traveled with full confidence for so long. All my assistants have worked as co-creators in the film. I am fortunate to have such a team. I am lucky that Raja sir came in for this. He is very versatile. Even if I go to see him ten minutes late, he will have four tunes by then. He has also given me a lot of space personally. All that is a matter of pride for me. He is clear about what the director’s job is in the film and what his best contribution can be. It was a joy to see his genius mind up close. There are four songs in the film. Each one is different. I called Sethu for this film with an eight-day call sheet. But it has been 257 days including both parts. Sethu must have acted for at least 120 days in this. Thank you for that patience. Suriya has also acted for a long time. We have all learned a lot from this film. I even called Manju Warrier for 3 days as a call sheet in the film. But now she has two songs in the film. The important role is hers. I thank my family, friends, and the team for everything.”
Music composer Ilayaraja said, “This is not like the audio launch of every film. I know how much Vetrimaaran has worked hard for ‘Viduthalai’. Sanjay Subramaniam sang the song ‘Thenam Thenamum’. After that, the director asked me to sing. After that, Sanjay sang the song ‘Manasula’. He is a great music composer.
When I saw Rajiv Menon, I asked who I was. I did not know him. Then I came to know that he is a cinematographer. He has acted well. I appreciated Chethan’s acting. Don’t think of the second part as the first part. Vetrimaaran has traveled a different path in this. Composing music for this film is like putting a dot in the sky. “I listened to everything Vetri Maran said and turned it into music. Vetri Maran would always be recording when I was composing. I had never been to an event in so long. I had never gone to an event. They asked me to speak at this event beforehand. I said I would be there. I got a good opportunity to hear everyone talking,” he said.
