There are so many crimes against women in the country. Especially sexual abuse and cruelty against girls are happening. It is an incomprehensible mystery what is the reason for that mental illness. In fact, a new film named ‘Thunindavan’ based on the cruelty inflicted on a ten-year-old girl has been made. This film is directed by Sujeesh Thekshana Kashi – Harinarayanan. This film is produced by Dakshan Kashi Productions. Selvakumar has handled the cinematography for this film. Unni Nambiar has composed the music. Achu Vijayan has edited the film. Jeemon N. M. has supervised the art direction.
In this film, Indran, Jafar, Johnny Antony, I. N. Vijayan, Sudheesh, Diana Hameed, Aparna Sivadas, are in the lead roles. The producer’s daughter Kashmira plays the main character of the story, a 10-year-old girl.
The film’s shooting took place in the Kottayam area.
Speaking about the story of the film, Director Sujeesh says,
“Everyone in the village loves that ten-year-old child. She is always energetic and lively and is seen as a form of energy. Although she is only ten years old, she speaks with the maturity of a twenty-year-old and understands people.
She can tell someone’s character by looking at their appearance. She can predict their mind by looking at their facial expressions. She can also find out and scold anyone who comes after drinking. A storm hits the loving family consisting of mother, father and the child due to the force of time. Whether the child recovers from many problems or not is the story of this ‘Thunindavan’ film.
The songs are sung by Vijay Yesudas, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi and Sithara Krishnakumar with music by Unni Nambiar. The songs have been released by New Music.

The film is being released by Sagaram Film Company Ads, also known as ‘SFC’, the director says.
