The upcoming Tamil movie “Asthram”, starring Shaam in the lead role, has created a buzz with its Tamil Nadu theatrical rights acquired by Five Star Company, a distribution house riding high on the success of its recent films like Parking, Maharaja, and Garudan.
Best Movies Dhana Shanmugamani’s upcoming production “Asthram” is a crime-investigation thriller featuring actor Shaam in the lead role and model-turned-actress Niranjani as the female lead, the movie is directed by Aravind Rajagopal, marking his debut in feature films after a decade of experience in short films and acting.
The movie is expected to be a racy and engaging thriller, with the story penned by Jegan M.S. The movie also includes renowned actors like Nizhalgal Ravi, Aroul D Shankar, Jeeva Ravi and a newcomer Ranjith DSM.
The movie has a strong technical team. Sundaramoorthy, known for his work in Airaa, 8 Thottakkal, and Bommai Nayagi is composing music for this film. Kalyan, who worked on the yet-to-release Ranger and Jackson Durai, handles the visuals. Boopathy, who previously worked as an associate editor on acclaimed films like Irudhi Sutru and Soorarai Pottru, is overseeing the film’s editing.
Rajavel, taking control of the sets and Mukesh, responsible for crafting the action sequences.
With this talented team, “Asthram” has shaped up into a technically strong and visually striking film which has captivated Five Star Senthil to release this film worldwide through his Five Star Company on feb 21st.
