Famous actors Samuthirakani Bharath will be joining hands for the first time in a rare film that affirms the brotherhood and heart ties of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Written and directed by famous Malayalam film director Anil V. Nagendran, Veeravanakam features Samuthirakani, Bharath, National Award winner Surabi Lakshmi, Ritesh, Bharani, Ramesh Bisharady, Siddique, Aristo Suresh, Adarsh, Aysvika, Sithangana and more than 2000 actors in the lead roles. 95-year-old P.K. Medhini Amma, a famous revolutionary singer and freedom fighter revered by the people of Kerala, also plays an important role. P. This innovative film, which combines the heroic life story of Krishna Pillai and the life philosophy of Periyar, will undoubtedly give a new cinematic experience to the Tamils and Malayalis, a mother nation. Veeravanakam is the second part of the epic Malayalam blockbuster film ‘Vasanthathinte Kanal Vagala’ written and directed by Anil V. Nagendran. The film introduced National Award winner Samuthirakani for Best Actor and National Award winner Surabi Lakshmi for Best Actress as a hero in Malayalam for the first time. Samuthirakani’s return as B. Krishna Pillai in Veeravanakam has increased the expectations of the fans. Veeravanakam is the dawn journey of a Tamil village that is subjected to severe caste atrocities and violence. The film features five wonderful and mesmerizing songs composed by five composers: M. K. Arjunan, Perumbavoor G. Ravindranath, James Vasanthan, C.J. Kuttappan and P. Udayakumar. ‘Simmakuralon’ T. M. Soundararajan’s son T.M.S. Selvakumar is making his debut as a playback singer in Veera Vanakam. He has sung a revolutionary song that makes you wonder if T.M.S. is singing again. In Veera Vanakam, singer Yasin Nisar, who has sung more than 600 songs including Nadu Nadu in the Oscar-winning film RRR, Kerala’s leading folk singer C.J. Kuttappan, Ravi Shankar and Sonia have also sung wonderful songs.
