The relationship between a father and his son has been the central theme of very many films in the past and on most such occasions, the climax will get the best out of both of them while they start living happily thereafter!
Of course, there are a few exceptions wherein the damage done in their relationship stays stale for ever, Thangapadakkam, Jailer, to quote!
Here is an emotional flick that sets the stage for a strong bonding between a dad (Samudrakani) and his son (Dhanraj) with the latter always being hateful of the former for reasons that his dad had heaped tons of humiliations in the past in the pretext that it is all for the well being of the son!
Here, the son goes overboard in his hatred towards his father as he wishes him dead!
He even conspires a plot to get rid of his dad but the climax has an unexpected twist that jolts not only the son but the viewers too!

While Dhanraj is passable as the son who is a spoiled brat, Samudrakani asserts his class as a dutiful dad!
