Debutante director, Aravind Rajagopal ‘s film showcases such alarming secretes the key to open hidden elsewhere! The Book belongs to the 8th century while the game of Chess dates back to the 7th Century.
Akilan (Shaam) is a dashing and daring cop who is on medical leave on account of a broken arm.
A chance to solve a series of suicides falls on his lap under mysterious circumstances. Akilan’s better half, Priya (Nira) is a Media person.
Akilan seeks the concurrence of his superior (Aroul D. Shankar) and goes ahead with his investigation and in the process, he unearths several hidden facts all connected with the game of Chess!
The climax looks perfect for such a crime thriller soaked in mystery.
S. Sundaramoorthy’s background score and Kalyan Venkatraman’s camera work add pep to the proceedings.
The movie is certainly worth a watch…
