A well crafted tale that sketches the plight of a middle class family, the breadwinner of the family being an auto driver!
Sathyaraj narrates the tale that has very many high moments.
It is a landmark film for Kali Venkat playing Kannan who has virtually carried the film on his shoulders as evidenced by the manner he carries the responsibilities of his family consisting of his understanding wife Kamalam (Shelly, she is very natural), daughter Deepika (Roshini) and son Dinesh (Vishwa).
The family is well connected emotionally and the sequences set in the backdrop of that family appear very genuine!
The track involving an E. B. official and the scenes following the electrocution of a pet dog appear contrived and fail to create a flutter!
The boy’s reaction certainly goes overboard!
Sathyaraj ‘s narration is commendable proving finally that even middle class people will have an adventurous journey of life…
K. C. Balasarangan’s music is a plus.
A film that is certainly worth a visit…
