A delicate subject handled meticulously without taking much of sides forms the format of the narration of this flick produced and directed by Esakki Karvannan who has also played a pivotal role in the proceedings.
Two neighbouring villages are at loggerheads as one is inhabited by Hindus and the other by Christians.
Paramasivan (Vemal) and Fathima (Chaya Devi) fall in love and hence fall down in the eyes of both the villages which despise each other on the basis of their religion.
The powers that be go to the extent of killing them both so that in future, no young hearts will cross communities to fall in love!
The further turn of events and the happenings that follow, forms the rest. The climax portions could have been pruned a bit.
A good attempt at reconciliation of religious beliefs.
