Actor Vijay Vishwa’s VV ENTERTAINMENTS and CREDAI Madurai’s “Clean Madurai” World Record Attempt Sees Participation of 2000+ Students โ A Historic Event in Madurai
With the aim of transforming Madurai into a clean and green city, CREDAI Madurai, in collaboration with VV Entertainments and supported by the Grand Universe Book of Records, organized a “Clean Madurai” world record attempt and environmental awareness program on January 31, 2026, at the Tamukkam Grounds.
VV Entertainments, led by actor Vijay Vishwa, has previously set several world records, including the human chain forming the image of Sunita Williams, the world record for the largest number of students participating in martial arts, the world record for the largest number of children dressed as deities during the Madurai Chithirai Festival, and the “Stop Violence Against Women” campaign. Continuing this tradition, VV Entertainments undertook a new initiative, “Clean Madurai,” to spread social awareness among the public. A massive human chain was formed as part of this world record attempt. More than 2000 participants, including school students aged 5 to 16 and their parents, enthusiastically participated, bringing pride to Madurai.
Participating schools included: Mahatma Schools, CEOA Matric Higher Secondary School, Vedic Vidyashram Senior Secondary School, Velammal Bodhi Campus โ Anuppanadi, Drona Global School, Vallabha Vidyalaya, E.B.G. Matric Higher Secondary School, Idhayam Rajendran Residential School, Sri Aurobindo Meera Universal School, Sri Aurobindo Indian School, Sri Aurobindo Meera Matric Higher Secondary School, MVH Skills Development Center, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara. Students from various educational institutions, including Matriculation Higher Secondary Schools, participated in this event.
The event, organized jointly by CREDAI and VV Entertainments, featured special guests including Mrs. Premalatha Panneerselvam, founder of Mahatma Educational Institutions, Ramakrishna, Chairman of CREDAI Madurai, Muthu Vijayan, President, Yogesh, Secretary, Srikumar, Secretary of CREDAI Tamil Nadu, Jayachandran, Vice President of CREDAI Madurai, members Balasankar and Sayed Umar, and Mrs. Padmasani, Principal of Sri Aurobindo Meera Matriculation School. They encouraged the students and delivered special addresses.
This “Clean Madurai” initiative successfully raised awareness about environmental protection among all sections of society.

The organizers stated that VV Entertainments and CREDAI Madurai will continue to undertake similar events in collaboration with volunteers to promote a clean environment in Madurai.
