During the meeting, several key decisions were taken with the welfare of the film industry as the primary objective. Specifically, a unanimous resolution was passed to constitute a Joint Action Committee—comprising producers, distributors, and theatre owners—to regulate both theatrical releases and OTT releases of films. Furthermore, it was resolved that all members of the film industry must strictly abide by the decisions made by this Joint Action Committee.

Another unanimous resolution was passed stipulating that if an actor, actress, director, or leading technical artist accepts an advance payment from a producer, they must accord priority to that specific producer and complete the film project for them before undertaking any other commitments. Actors, actresses, directors, and leading technical crew members involved in feature films are prohibited from acting in or directing web series. A resolution has been unanimously passed mandating that any such actors, actresses, or leading technical crew members who choose to work in web series must strictly abide by the decisions made by the Joint Committee regarding their future participation in feature films.
