‘Kaadhal Reset Repeat’ – The story of a good-hearted ordinary man – Director Vijay
The pre-release ceremony of the film ‘Kaadhal Reset Repeat’, which is produced by Mali & Manvi Movie Makers – D Studios – Denvi Production – and co-produced by producer Prabha Premkumar and directed by leading director Vijay, was held in Chennai.
The film ‘Kaadhal Reset Repeat’, directed by Director Vijay, features Madhumkesh, Jiya Shankar, Arjun Ashokan, M. S. Bhaskar, Jayaprakash, Viji Chandrasekhar and others. The film has been shot by Aravind Krishna and has music by Harris Jayaraj. Editing by Antony is handled by Saravanan Vasanth. Manohar Varma has been the stunt coordinator and Ruchi Vinoth has been the costume designer. The film is being released by Romeo Pictures across Tamil Nadu.
Director Bala, along with the team of Kadhal Reset Repeat, was the special guest at the event, which was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of composer Harris Jayaraj.
Speaking at the event, actor Arjun Asokan said,
”This is my first Tamil film. I thank director Vijay for giving me a good character in this film. My co-actor Madhumkesh helped me with my Tamil accent on the set. Thank you to him. Thank you to my co-stars. Thank you very much for giving me such an introduction in Tamil. This character has interesting twists and turns. I think I have done as well as I can. Lyricist Madan Karky said,
” I am working with Vijay and Harris Jayaraj again in this film. The joy of working in this is that I get the opportunity to write good poetic lyrics. Vijay is a good Tamil fan. If there is poetry in the song, he will celebrate. He will create a good and comfortable atmosphere when working with him. I have written a song for four legs in this film. ‘Un Paarvai..’ is my favorite song in the song of this film.

Music composer Harris Jayaraj said,
” I met Gautham Menon, who was a young director, in 1999. He met me for an advertisement through cameraman RD Rajasekhar. After that, the work on the film ‘Minnale’ started in 2000. At that time, Madhavan was the hero in that film. At that time, the film ‘Alaipayude’ was not released. Reema Sen was the new heroine. In that film, the director was new… the cameraman was new… I was new… the producer Murali Manohar was the star of that film. He had produced the film ‘Jeans’.
While working on that film, we did not trust the lyricists. At that time, we also added a new lyricist named Thamarai. After this, the work on that film was completed and the film was released. The film ‘Minnale’ has now been re-released.
The reason I am saying this now is that if something called a story field is established… it does not need any star. It will get good work from everyone. It will make everyone a great technician. It will make ordinary actors look great.
If great artists.. great technicians.. work together on a single story.. everything disappears. Story is a structure. That structure changes for every film. I have seen this. I got introduced to the producer of this film and told him that I could work with him. After that, I thank him for believing in me and giving me a chance after telling me this story.
Film production companies like Mali and Manvi Productions are essential for Tamil cinema today. The reason I mention it is because I have seen it in my experience. We have gone to Scotland for filming. Jiah Shankar did not get a visa. The entire crew has gone there. Not just Jiah. Should we choose someone else and let him act..! There was also a temptation. At that time, we were in such a critical situation. What should we do? I asked the producer for advice. Then he said, ‘Do whatever comes to your mind that is good for you..’. The one word he said that day is the reason why this film has turned out so beautifully today.

Actor Madhumkesh- A hard worker. He worked with dedication for the role of Siddharth and adapted himself to that role. For this, he underwent surgery… lost weight… and made many efforts. I believe that this film will give good results to his hard work.

Jiah Shankar – What I felt when introducing Amy Jackson in the film Madrasapattinam… I felt the same when introducing Jiah Shankar. When I was shooting the first scene with him, I told him that you will work in Tamil cinema for a long time. Now I will tell you. She will work in Indian cinema and reach a good place. Jiya – A hardworking Marathi woman. I shot a song scene in this film in a single shot. She trained for six to seven days to act in that scene.
VG Chandrasekhar – You are not a ‘cameo’ in this film. It is a good character. Watch the film.
MS Bhaskar – In this story, the hero and Arjun Ashokan have the same importance as the character of MS Bhaskar. Bhaskar is not a member of my family. He is the pride of Indian cinema. He worked for 40 days for this film, thank you to him for that.
The story of this film was written by R. Mahadev, the assistant of director Rajamouli, along with me. He is the one who wrote the screenplay. After writing the entire screenplay of this film, this story is a musical story. It cannot be made without Harris Jayaraj. Therefore, I first told the producer that it would be good if Harris sir composed the music. I am his biggest fan. We consider it a great privilege to work with him. Working with him is a great lesson.
He sees every song as a film. He took a month for every song in this film. He works 12 hours a day in a month. He decides everything himself. He is also a huge pillar for this film. He has worked for many months for the background music of the film and has paid attention to and carved out every scene.
When we start writing about the work of every film, we cannot write that it is a super hit but what makes us believe it is the moments during which the work of the film takes place. We have all made these moments happy and honest. I hope people will reward us for this. We are proud that we have also traveled with Harris Jayaraj in his 25th year. I thank him for this.

I saw him on the set in Scotland. I have produced four films so far. The experience I got on the set of his film was different from the experience I got on the set of that film. He was shooting the scenes quickly.
