“Arivu” Filming Underway in Munnar… Producer Sai Vinoth Jayakumar Changes the Lives of Students!
Produced by Sai Vinoth Jayakumar under the banner of Movietron Production and directed by Sathyasiva—and starring the duo of Uriyadi Vijaykumar and Kayal Anandhi—the upcoming film Arivu has currently become a topic of widespread discussion for its unique blend of social consciousness and humanitarian spirit.
The filming of Arivu took place at a government school located in the Othapparai area, near Munnar. During this time, upon observing the lack of adequate facilities for the students at the school, the film’s producer, Sai Vinoth Jayakumar, immediately took the initiative to undertake work to upgrade the institution’s essential infrastructure.
Consequently, the entire school underwent a fresh coat of paint, and extensive renovation work was carried out. Furthermore, a dedicated drinking water facility was established for the students, and all other basic amenities necessary for their daily education were fully provided. This assistance, extended to a school attended primarily by students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, serves as a powerful testament to the film crew’s deep sense of social responsibility.
From its very inception, Arivu has been crafted around a compelling social narrative that places women’s rights at its core. The first schedule of filming for the movie has now been successfully completed in the Munnar region. Following this, the second schedule of filming is currently underway in the Theni region.
The film features a talented ensemble cast, with prominent actors such as I. M. Vijayan, Singampuli, and Deepa Shankar playing pivotal roles. Sathyasiva, who has written the story and screenplay in addition to directing the film, is renowned for his ability to convey strong social messages through a dynamic and engaging cinematic language. Produced under the banner of Movietron Production, Producer Saivinoth Jayakumar is crafting this film as a high-quality cinematic work with a substantial budget; Saiprabhu Jayakumar serves as the Co-producer.
