On Actor Jai’s Birthday, the 3rd Single “Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai”—Featuring Bharathiyar’s Lyrics—Is Released!
An Intense Song Reflecting the Current Electoral Climate!

To mark Actor Jai’s birthday, the team behind his new film, Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai (The Weather Changes Suddenly), has captured significant attention by releasing the film’s third single—featuring lyrics by the legendary poet Bharathiyar—as a special gift to fans. Crafted with a strong sense of social consciousness and a political backdrop, this song is currently generating widespread buzz across the internet.

Based on Bharathiyar’s renowned lines, “Naan Veezhvenendru Ninaithayo?” (Did you think I would fall?), composer Ghibran (Girishh Gopalakrishnan) has created this track in collaboration with the Madurai-based rap collective, Madurai Soldiers. Expressing outrage over social injustices and contemporary realities, the song has been jointly performed by Ghibran and the Madurai Soldiers. Released at a time when the electoral atmosphere is intensifying, the song—designed to spark social awareness—has created a massive sensation among the public.

Produced and directed by Babu Vijay under the banner of BV Production, this film stands as a novel cinematic endeavor: an innovative romantic thriller that boldly addresses pressing contemporary social issues. Starring Jai in the lead role, the film features Meenakshi Govindarajan as the female lead. They are supported by a talented ensemble cast, including Yogi Babu, Garuda Ram, and Sriman, who appear in pivotal roles.

The film has been lauded for reflecting the harsh realities of society. Its central theme revolves around the journey of life—specifically, the continuous tremors, surprises, and emotions that shape the human experience. Furthermore, the movie promises to boldly confront and discuss significant issues currently unfolding—and those yet to unfold—within the nation.

Ghibran has composed the music for the film, while Richard M. Nathan has handled the cinematography. The technical crew—including Editor Darling Richardson and Art Director S. Kannan—has significantly elevated the quality of this film.

With the entire filming process now complete, the final stages of post-production work are currently proceeding at a rapid pace. The film unit plans to release the movie in theaters this coming May, following the elections.
