Produced by Dawn Pictures, written and directed by Akash Bhaskaran, and starring Atharvaa Murali, the film “Idhayam Murali” is set for a worldwide theatrical release on July 10th. Presented by Inban Udhayanidhi, the film is being released globally by Red Giant Movies.
With the release approaching, the film crew is actively engaged in promotional activities. As part of this, a pre-release event was held yesterday at a private mall in the presence of thousands of fans. The film crew participated in the event, took part in cultural performances, and shared several interesting details about the movie.
Leading director Atlee graced the occasion as a special guest and extended his best wishes to the film crew.

“This film is very special to me. Director Akash narrated this story to me back in 2018. At that time, he was a young creator filled with dreams. In film circles, we often say that only the wealthy—people like Ambani—can make movies. However, creating a film involves more than just money. Bringing together numerous technicians and actors to fully execute a project is a massive challenge.
Akash worked incredibly hard for years to make this journey a reality.” Every year, he would meet me and excitedly share updates like, “We’ve added this to the script” or “We’ve improved that.” Over the past two years, the film moved into production, and today, his biggest dream has come true. I offer him my heartfelt congratulations.
It is a great pleasure to meet Atharvaa again. He has a unique fan base, and I can see that firsthand here. All the actresses, including Preethi and Gayathri, have performed brilliantly. Every scene in this film will offer a vibrant experience to the audience.

There is something I haven’t really shared before: the very first celebrity interview I conducted during my media career was with Atharvaa. It is a truly special experience for me to be acting alongside him in my debut film today.
This film is very close to my heart, primarily because of the friendships I gained through it.
