New Family Rom-Com Starring Jayaram and Simran – Grand Launch Ceremony Held!
The launch ceremony (pooja) for the new film starring Jayaram and Simran in lead roles took place in Chennai in a grand manner, attended by the film crew and prominent figures from the film industry.
The film is jointly produced by K. Vijay Pandi of White Carpet Films (known for Deja Vu and Vithaikkaran) and Shanjan G. of Redacted Studios. Arya presents the film under the banner of The Show People.
S.Y. Gowthamraj, who directed films like Raatchasi and Kazhuvethi Moorkkan, has written and is directing this movie.
Industry personalities such as producer Five Star Kathiresan, producer Vivek (Drumsticks Productions), producer Arun Viswa (Shanthi Talkies), director H. Vinoth, actor Natty, and producer Karthikeyan (Stone Bench) attended the event and extended their best wishes to the film crew.
Crafted as a lively family romantic comedy, the film’s screenplay centers on the relationships and interesting life events involving Gen Z, the ‘2K’ generation, and the generation that grew up in the 90s.
The story is designed to humorously capture the lifestyles, mindsets, relationships, and mutual understanding across these different generations. It is being made as an entertaining film that the whole family can enjoy together.
Alongside Jayaram and Simran in the lead roles, Ponvel—who impressed audiences as a child artist in the movie Vaazhai—plays a pivotal role. Devika Satheesh and Bhagavathi Perumal (Bucks) are also part of the key cast.
Deepak handles the cinematography, while Achu Rajamani composes the music. Arul E. Siddharth is in charge of editing, and Mahendran serves as the art director. Karthik Netha is penning the lyrics, while Anusha Viswanathan serves as the choreographer.
M. Mohamed Subair is handling costume design, and Sayath Malik S is in charge of makeup. SN Ashraf serves as the production controller, and D. Udhayakumar as the production manager. Saravanakumar is the creative producer, and Sairam is the executive producer. Vijay Venkataraman serves as the production coordinator.
Kannadasan DKD is handling the publicity design, and Jayakumar Vairavan is in charge of still photography. Sathish (AIM) is managing public relations. Raj Kathirhasan serves as the associate director.
