‘Once More’ – Film Trailer Launch Event!

‘Once More’ is a film produced by Million Dollar Studios and directed by Vignesh Srikanth, starring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar.

Directed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth, this film is a production centered on romance, emotions, and entertainment. Alongside Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar, popular model Sona Olickal plays a key role in the movie.
With the film set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 28, the trailer launch event was held in a grand manner in the presence of the press and media, attended by the film crew and prominent figures from the film industry. Speaking at the event, director and producer Ra. Saravanan said:

“On August 28th, Anbe Diana is releasing on OTT platforms, while Once More is hitting the big screen. This is a very significant day for my friend and producer, Yuvaraj. Although I had no professional involvement in Anbe Diana, I deeply appreciate his affection in including me as a producer. When I watched Once More, I found it so beautiful—almost poetic—that I actually pleaded with him to include my name in the credits somewhere.

I have always liked Arjun Das when he plays a villain, but in this film, he has truly excelled as the lead actor. His dedication is commendable. Aditi Shankar is an actress I admire greatly; I was overjoyed when I learned that Director Shankar’s daughter was entering the film industry. When she was about to make her debut, I suggested to Sivakarthikeyan that it would be wonderful if she started her career alongside him. I was delighted when she eventually made her debut in a film with Sivakarthikeyan. She has delivered a fantastic performance in this movie as well.

Producer Yuvaraj has become a wonderful friend to me. We have grown so close that I could almost say his friendship has overshadowed my relationships with other friends.

I hope Once More achieves such massive success that audiences in theaters clamor for ‘Once More.’ I want this film to bring tremendous success to my close friend, Yuvaraj.” Actress Kala said:

“The movie ‘Once More’ reminded me of my own college days. It evoked so many memories that it made me wish my college days had been just like that. ‘Once More’ feels like those unforgettable college memories. Director Vignesh Srikanth has directed it brilliantly.

I love seeing Arjun Das play a villain; he has performed exceptionally well in this film. Aditi is one of my favorite actresses, and she has delivered a beautiful performance too. My thanks go to everyone who worked on this film.”

Music Composer Hesham Abdul Wahab said:

“After the Malayalam film ‘Hridayam’, ‘Once More’ is the Tamil film I truly enjoyed working on. As my debut in Tamil, we worked on the entire album with great enthusiasm. The director has crafted a beautiful story that everyone can easily relate to. Everyone involved in the film has put in excellent work.
I thank all the musicians who worked with me, as well as lyricist Srikanth. Fans are already celebrating the songs from this film, and I hope they will continue to be enjoyed for a long time to come. Thank you.”

Actress Sona said:

“Today is a very important day for me. I had been eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Once More’. My heartfelt thanks go to Director Vignesh Srikanth and Producer Yuvaraj for giving me the pivotal role of Indira in this film.
Arjun Das was incredibly supportive; he kept me happy by treating me to plenty of good food. Similarly, Aditi became a wonderful friend to me from the very first day of the shoot. My thanks to her as well.” “I extend my gratitude to all the actors, actresses, and technicians who worked on this film. Like all of you, I too am eagerly awaiting August 28th. I am confident that everyone will love this film. Thank you.”

Producer Yuvaraj Ganesan said:

“I have been waiting for this moment for a long time; both Director Vignesh Srikanth and I have been looking forward to this. Although we had previously set several release dates for the film, things didn’t work out due to various reasons. However, the release for August 28th is now confirmed.

From the very moment the director narrated the story, he worked with a drive to do something unique in every single scene. This film will stand as a testament to his talent and serve as a significant milestone in his career.

Since this is a musical film, we discussed the choice of music composer with many people. Ultimately, Hesham Abdul Wahab, the composer of the film Hridayam…”
“We met Abdul Wahab and asked him to come on board for this film. He has delivered music that far exceeds our expectations; fans will certainly celebrate his work. Aditi Shankar plays a pivotal role in this movie. We approached her after seeing Maaveeran. Compared to her remuneration for that film, she worked for a much lower fee here and extended excellent cooperation. My thanks go to her.

Similarly, this film simply wouldn’t exist without Arjun Das. His dedication and support are the film’s greatest strengths. This is a project very close to his heart, and he truly enjoyed working on it. He worked with total commitment, showing up whenever we called without ever worrying about scheduling constraints.

The dedication and hard work of this entire team are what make Once More strong. I extend my gratitude to director-producer Ira Saravanan for his support, and to my entire crew for their tireless efforts. Please watch the film in theaters starting August 28th. Thank you all!”

Director Vignesh Srikanth spoke as follows:

“I have been waiting a long time for this day. They say that after a time for tears comes a time for happiness—and this is that happy moment. Once More hits the screens on August 28th.
I dedicate this film to director Mani Ratnam. It was watching his movies that inspired me to become a director; this film is essentially my love letter to him. I thank my parents, relatives, friends in the film industry, and everyone else who supported this project. My thanks also go to producer Yuvaraj Ganesan for journeying with me to make this film a reality.

From the very first day I started writing this script, Arjun Das was the only actor I had in mind. I wrote the character of Raghu specifically with him in mind.” He has truly lived the role of Raghu in this film. His performance appeared even fresher and more remarkable in the final edit than I had anticipated. I also extend my gratitude to Aditi Shankar; despite the various challenges faced during the shoot, she collaborated with us, offered her full support, and delivered a fantastic performance. My thanks also go to Sona, who played the character Indira. This marks the debut film for both of us. We had been waiting for this day for a long time, and I am delighted that it has finally arrived.

The music plays a crucial role in this film. Hesham Abdul Wahab, the composer of Hridayam, has scored the music for this movie. His music has elevated the film to the next level; the visuals and the music are so beautifully intertwined that they cannot be viewed in isolation. I also want to thank the entire technical crew—including the cinematographer and editor—as well as my assistant directors.

This is my debut film, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy it. Please watch Once More in theaters starting August 28th and show your support. Thank you!”

Actress Aditi Shankar spoke as follows:

“First, I would like to thank producer Yuvaraj Ganesan. I am grateful to him for bringing a film like Once More to the screen and for introducing a talented director like Vignesh Srikanth.

This film came to me during a very difficult phase of my life. Showing up for the shoot and living as the character Anjali each day acted as a form of emotional healing and uplifted my spirits; it brought me immense joy and enthusiasm. That is why this film holds such great importance for me.

I have been a huge fan of the film’s composer, Hesham Abdul Wahab, ever since Hridayam. He has created a beautiful song for me in this movie—a song that is very close to my heart. Sona, who also acted in this film, is a truly wonderful actress.” “I really enjoyed his acting. I wish for him to receive many more great opportunities.
I first saw Arjun Das at an Anirudh concert and, as a fan, took a photo with him; he smiled at me back then. Now, I am overjoyed to have acted alongside him; he has become a very good friend of mine. You have all appreciated Arjun Das in unique roles before; please celebrate him as a ‘lover boy’ in this film as well. He will certainly win you all over. ‘Once More’ is a beautiful drama, and I am confident that everyone will love it!”

Actor Arjun Das said…

“When Vignesh Srikanth came to narrate the story to me, he initially shared only the one-line premise, which I really liked. He then said he would return after preparing the full screenplay.
However, there is one thing he didn’t mention. After finalizing the script, he pitched the story to several production houses. Many of them suggested, ‘Let’s not cast Arjun Das as the lead; perhaps we could use a different hero?’ But Vignesh…”
He stood firmly by me, insisting, “Only Arjun Das can play the role of Raghu in this story; I will make this film only with him.”

I extend my gratitude to director Vignesh Srikanth for placing his complete trust in me for this project. There were times when even I doubted whether I could pull off the character of Raghu, but he believed in me implicitly.

I know just how important this film is to him. While the rest of us moved on to other projects after wrapping up this one, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to it to this day. This is his debut film, and its release on August 28th will undoubtedly showcase his talent.

Regarding music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab—I had called to appreciate his work after watching the movie Hridayam, as I really loved his music. We discussed the possibility of collaborating on a film in the future. When Vignesh narrated this story, I suggested approaching Hesham, given that it is a musical where the score plays a pivotal role. He agreed immediately upon hearing the story and has delivered a magnificent musical score for the film. My thanks go out to him. Vignesh had various visions for the character of Indira before Sona finally stepped into the role. She has delivered a magnificent performance and has become a wonderful friend. This film will serve as a significant milestone in her career.
Similarly, Aditi Shankar has brought incredible energy to the film. She went from formally addressing me as “Sir” on the first day of the shoot to becoming a close friend who could address me casually by the very next day; gaining her friendship has been a source of great joy for me.
I extend my gratitude to producer Yuvaraj Ganesan and Million Dollar Studios for their unwavering determination to complete this film, despite facing numerous challenges. I pray that this movie becomes a part of the studio’s success story and brings immense success to Yuvaraj Ganesan. “Once More” is an authentic drama that portrays a beautiful love story; it is a film very close to my heart, and I am certain you will all love it. Thank you! Hesham Abdul Wahab, who has captivated fans across India with his music, makes his debut as a music composer in Tamil cinema with “Once More.”

Aravind Viswanathan has handled the cinematography, while Rajkamal has overseen the art direction. Nawa Rajkumar served as the costume designer, and the film was produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan for Million Dollar Studios. Generating great anticipation, “Once More” is set to release in theaters worldwide starting August 28.
