Speaking about the film, Director Maideen said:

“This film features a story infused with family sentiment.

Until now, Tamil cinema has portrayed North Chennai solely through the lens of brawls, violence, bloodshed, enmity, and murder. For the first time, we have crafted a film that depicts the realistic lives of the people of North Chennai, free from such elements.

Since the story is set in North Chennai, we have filmed the entire movie within the area and its surrounding localities. We are releasing the film in theaters across Tamil Nadu on October 2nd. We earnestly request the general public, cinema fans, and our friends in the press and media to extend their support to our film.”
