‘Anbil Avan’ Film Crew Celebrates Success; Meets Press to Express Gratitude
The film ‘Anbil Avan’—directed by R. Karthikeyan and starring Ashok Selvan and Preethi Mukundhan—was jointly produced by Ayngaran International and Happy High Pictures. It is currently receiving a warm reception from audiences in theaters. To celebrate the film’s success, the crew organized an event to express their gratitude.
At the event, the film crew met with members of the press and media to thank them for their support and for helping take the movie to the audience. Director Karthikeyan, along with actors Ashok Selvan, Preethi Mukundhan, Kathir Balu, Maha, and Delhi Ganesh, participated in the event, sharing their experiences during the film’s production and discussing the reception it has received from fans.

“Working on this film was a great experience for me. Although I had prior experience working on three other films, I am grateful to everyone who gave me the opportunity to work on this one. Initially, another art director was working on the project, but he was unable to continue due to ill health. Subsequently, Ashok sir contacted me and asked me to take over the work.
I had a wonderful working environment on this film. We managed to reduce costs by constructing several sets in Chennai that were originally intended to be filmed in Munnar. We created numerous sets for the movie. The cinematographer was incredibly supportive and captured the sets I designed beautifully. The director and the entire team ensured a positive working atmosphere. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.”

When we launched ‘Happ High Pictures,’ Ashok and Abi happily joined us on this journey. Our objective during production was to ensure that the audience wouldn’t simply forget the film the moment it ended in the theater; we wanted them to keep thinking and talking about it after returning home, and to relate the film to their own lives in some way. We faced numerous challenges while making this film over the past two years.” Nevertheless, Ashok and Abi placed their faith in this film and stood by us, staking everything on it.
