The biennial meeting of office-bearers representing the Actor Sivakarthikeyan Welfare Association took place this year near Porur, Chennai. More than two thousand office-bearers from various levels—state, district, city, union, and zonal—participated in the event.
Speaking at the gathering, Actor Sivakarthikeyan emphasized that the organization’s sole objective is to extend whatever help possible to those in need; he urged everyone to clearly understand that the association is not intended to compete with or oppose anyone.
He highlighted the importance of physical health and encouraged everyone to stay healthy. He also advised them to earn well and prioritize the well-being of their families. He expressed great happiness and offered his heartfelt appreciation for the initiative where members perform acts of kindness for at least ten people every single day of the year—moving beyond one-off charitable acts to a consistent, daily commitment to service.
He also urged everyone to dedicate at least ten minutes a day to reading books; following this, he received the first book from a book fair organized at the venue.
He mentioned that he is currently acting in the film Seyon, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, and another film directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan; both are set to be entertaining movies that appeal to the general audience. After the interaction, he took individual photographs with the office-bearers present. A lunch was arranged, and everyone departed happily after the meal.
