Of course, the first half appears a bit like routine stuff but as the screenplay unfolds, there are two mention-worthy features that feature in this flick scripted and helmed by Balaji Tharaneetharan! It is significant to recollect that the same combo (same lead actor & director) has delivered a classic – Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom(2012). But for Vijay Sethupathi not many actors would have come forward to don such a character that he has depicted to perfection. But the little boy, Sai Prithvi Raj proves a scene stealer by his natural portrayal! The manner in which he showcases fear on his face is so good.
The two noteworthy features are – the transformation of a rowdy into a mellowed man and the spirit of a small boy who finally decides to face what he fears most!
The narration travels in an emotional track without much of a melodrama!
Sai Abhyankkar ‘s music is rhythmic.
