What if the characters from the work of a writer come to life and debate with the writer regarding the deliverance of justice to them if in case, the writer had not rounded up their respective characterizations with poetic justice!
This exactly is the crux of the plot of this discerning flick which could easily be branded as one among the best theatrical releases of this year!
With a virtually unknown cast and crew, barring the exception of a few familiar faces, the filmmaker has woven a brilliant script in which the lead artistes have performed in a very spontaneous manner!
Late Delhi Ganesh is quite at home as a publisher and it is sad to realize that he is no more!
Sai Dheena as a gangster with a mole in his squad is in his elements as usual….
The plot has three tracks-
A writer named Vasantha(NagarajKannan) has penned three tracks in his novel-
a gangster, Dhanapal (Sai Dheena) who is eager to accomplish the task of executing his 50th killing!
An aspiring student, Raji (Mridula) whose family condition does not permit her to pursue her dream of studying medicine. A maid servant, Selvi (Aiswarya Raghupathi) is blamed of having stolen two thousand rupees from a household, while in fact, she is innocent! Her husband, Ramesh (Karthik Srinivasan) who is a carpenter is left in lurch and has to take care of their only son.
As the writer had not delivered poetic justice to these characters, the respective characters come alive and bully him.
How things get resolved is the interesting rest narrated in an appreciable manner.
Anjana Rajagopalan’s music and the cinematography of Sundar Ramakrishnan add people to the proceedings…It is hard to believe that A. R. Raghavendra is a first time filmmaker!
