Movies based on border wars are aplenty but this discerning flick stands up fall not only on the merit of its screenplay and dialogue but also on the basis of its filmmaker ‘s treatment!
The screenplay is centred around the bravery and humanness of an Indian Soldier, Sakthivel (Pradeep, he is very natural as well as effective) who has left behind his sweetheart, Meenakshi (Archana Singh) longing for his arrival back home!
When his superior officer gets hurt, he assumes the responsibility of carrying him back to the camp but circumstances force the officer to end his life, himself!
While on the move, Sakthivel unknowingly steps up on a self-destructive bomb but he is saved on time by a soldier belonging to the enemy camp.
The other senior officers belonging to his camp arrive at the place where Sakthivel and the soldier from the enemy camp have camped.
While they all want the enemy soldier to be shot, Sakthivel tries his best to refrain them from such an act but then the inevitable happens which leaves a bad taste in Sakthivel ‘s mouth!
A heart touching movie made on a moderate budget but yet it manages to create a big impact in the minds of the viewers!
Every single scene has been conceived and crafted in a very effective manner!
The film is a true ROYAL SALUTE to all those soldiers in the world all over who exhibit humanness too besides bravery!
